Manually add prospects for the first time

In Prospect.io, you need to manually add prospects to a campaign.
You can add prospects to a campaign from 2 different places:

  1. From a campaign

From a campaign

Prospects will be directly added to your campaign and emails will be sent according to:

  1. The schedule you chose in the process above
  2. Your campaign's settings: you can choose to send emails only on certain days of the week
  3. The queue created by the daily sending limit of your sending address

From the prospect panel

  1. Open the prospect panel by clicking on a prospect's name anywhere in the app
  2. Click on the Add to Campaign button
  3. Choose the campaign
  4. Choose who will be the sender of the emails (a sending address)
  5. Click on the Start Now button

Adding prospects to a running campaign

You can add prospects to a campaign that is running (already sending emails to prospects) whenever you want.

The new prospects will receive the first step of the campaign, according to the schedule.

Adding prospects that have already been in the campaign

You can add prospects that have already been in the campaign before.

If you add prospects to a campaign they've previously been in, outgoing emails will resume from where they had stopped.

For example, if a prospect exited a 3-step campaign and you have since then added 2 more steps to the campaign you can add the same prospect again and they will receive emails 4 and 5 only.

Re-adding prospects that previously bounced

If an email bounced, the prospect will automatically be removed from the campaign.
You can re-add this prospect to the same campaign after updating the email address that previously bounced.

Prospects will automatically go back to the step that bounced, it means we'll resend the email that previously bounced to ensure the prospect gets the whole sequence.
