Prospects are the contacts that you found through our extension, added manually, or imported through our import tool. A prospect's profile is where you find all the information associated with them – their overview, activity, notes, tasks, deals, emails, and sequences.

Each prospect may be in one Organization. Also, prospects can be in multiple lists at the same time. Read more about the lists.


Ways to create a prospect

There are multiple ways to grow your prospect list in

  1. Use our Google Chrome extension on LinkedIn or on any company website. More info here.

  2. Import your existing lists in CSV format to

  3. Use the Email Finder to search for the email addresses of your prospects.

  4. Create prospects manually.

  5. Create prospects using our API

Create a prospect manually

On the Prospects page, click on the + New Prospect button. From there you can create a prospect with or without an email address.

Create a prospect with an email address

  1. Enter the prospect's email address.

  2. (Optional) You can verify the email address that you enter. The verification of an email address costs 1 credit.

  3. Enter the rest of the prospect's information and click Save.
    We recommend you to be as thorough as possible since all that data can be useful in setting up workflows.

Create a prospect without an email address

  1. Click Continue Without Email.

  2. Enter the prospect's first and last name. This is mandatory for prospects without email addresses.

  3. Enter the rest of the prospect's information and click Save.

Edit prospects in bulk

Sometimes, you need to update the same prospect’s field for several prospects at once. For instance, you might want to fill in the “country” field for all prospects from the “US Market” list. lets you do that with the “Bulk Edit”.

Here is how to do it:

  1. Navigate to your Prospects page

  2. Select the prospects you want to update

  3. Click on "Manage prospects"

  4. Click on "Bulk edit"

From there, you will be able to choose the fields you want to update and the value you want to put in.

You can either update a field with a value of your choice (“Replace the current value with...”), or clear the field (“Clear current value”). You can also leave a field as it is (“Keep current value”).

Attach a file to a prospect

You can attach a file to a prospect

  1. Navigate to the prospect's profile

  2. Click the Attachments button.

  3. Drag and drop a file or click select from your computer.

Add notes to a prospects

Notes can help you share information regarding a prospect. They can be used on a prospect's timeline to highlight events that happened outside of For example a phone call or an online conference. They can also be used to provide context to one of your teammates concerning a prospect.

Creating a note

To create a note, open a prospect panel and click the Note button. Once created, the note will be displayed on the prospect's activity.

Editing or deleting a note

To edit or delete a note, place your cursor on the note event, an Edit and a Delete option will appear.

Delete prospects

In you can delete prospects one by one or by using bulk actions.

Note: a deleted prospect cannot be restored, all associated data (emails, replies, etc.) will be permanently removed from your account.

Delete a specific prospect

You can delete a prospect from the prospect panel:

  1. Open a prospect.

  2. Click on the Actions button.

  3. Click on the Delete option in the menu.

Delete in bulk

You can choose to delete multiple prospects in a single operation:

  1. Navigate to the Prospects page.

  2. Filter and select the prospects you want to delete.

  3. Click on Manage prospects and then click Delete
